12 march 2008 - Why I fired my secretary… I woke up that morning. It was my 48 birthday. My wife did not wish me happy birthday, not even a good morning kiss. At breakfast my kids did not even look at me, let alone wished me a happy birthday. I queued in the traffic for hours. Finally at the office, my secretary wished me happy birthday with a big smile. I thought that I should thank Microsoft Office calendar’s alert feature for this. None of my other employee’s remembered tough. I felt a bit down. At around midday my secretary came to my office “What a bout taking me to lunch today? It ‘is such a beautiful day for your birthday.” We walked together to a nearby restaurant and had a very pleasant meal. After which she invited me to her place for coffee. After all one can take some extra time off one’s birthday. I agreed. We sat on her couch and she asked me with a wicked smile if I did not mind her changing down to more relaxed clothing and put herself at ease. I said sure, please do, why not. She disappeared in her bedroom letting me to think that it could be a very pleasant afternoon after all. She soon returned with a huge cake, along with my wife and my kids, to find me standing naked in her lounge.
