Dear friends,

 News
I invite you to look at recently published pictures of, “The inside”, a bronze female torso. I call it “The inside” because I made her by pouring plaster inside the hollow wax of another torso. As a result, it bears some resemblance to that earlier sculpture “Venus fessue”, only much slimmer:   (  http://www.duhamel.bz../drawings/bronze%20-%20%20the%20inside.shtml  ) Galleries interested in stocking this item can contact me by email or phone on 09 372 7220.

We will be hosting on Waiheke in early February 2006 a bronze casting workshop with Sculptor and founder David Reid. The 5 day course teaches the Reid Technique, a method to safely cast your own small bronzes. The fee of $600 includes all materials. Please contact me for more details.

The November show at ArteBello in Nouméa has been canceled due to the amount of activities during the same period in Auckland.

On a lighter note, I am pleased to report that sales for the September quarter have once again vastly exceeded our objectives in all sectors of the business. Sales in August at the Wellington Affordable Art Trust, growing interest in my bronzes and steady commission work all contributed to a very strong quarter.
